A beautiful smile and healthy teeth are not just a matter of aesthetics, although they undoubtedly boost a person's self-confidence and make them feel more at ease. Damaged, crooked or missing teeth, bad bites and other oral problems also have a negative impact on overall health. In addition, good modern dentistry offers the opportunity to keep or restore your teeth in good condition for the rest of your life, so it's definitely not something to economize on or put off.

The dental clinic "Zobu feja" is known among its clients for its particularly gentle approach to children's dentistry, but parents of young patients and any other adult are also welcome. The clinic also offers a wide range of services for them, such as dental fillings, root canal treatment, prosthetics, implantology and tooth extraction.

The clinic uses the latest methods, materials and equipment, and each patient receives an individual treatment plan that is as precise as possible.

Dental implants - a modern, comfortable and sustainable solution

The sad sights of toothless old men can thankfully be a thing of the past. If you have lost one or more teeth for any reason, dental implants are the perfect solution to this problem today. It has now become a very common manipulation in dental practices. This method of dentistry has a very high success rate and a single implant can last for the rest of a person's life.

Dental implants are like small screws that are inserted into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth. A crown or a cover prosthesis can then be placed on the implant, which can even replace an entire row of teeth.

In order to develop the most accurate individual treatment plan, a thorough diagnostic examination is carried out at the first visit - oral inspection and examination, intraoral photographs, 3D X-rays and, if necessary, intraoral scans. After this diagnosis, the specialists draw up a precise, individual implant placement plan for each patient.

When an implant is placed, there is no need to grind the adjacent teeth, as is the case, for example, with a prosthetic bridge. Patients will also not have the unpleasant foreign body sensation in the mouth that conventional removable dentures can cause.

Patients associate implant placement with a difficult and painful procedure, but this is not the case. The insertion is performed under local anaesthesia and takes only 15 to 30 minutes if the patient has sufficient bone volume and no additional manipulation is required.

If a tooth needs to be extracted

If a tooth can no longer be restored and needs to be extracted, the specialists at "Zobu feja” recommend that you first come for a diagnosis and consultation to assess the best options for replacing the tooth. In some situations, it is also possible to do an immediate implant placement on the same day as the tooth extraction. After the implant is placed, the bone is usually allowed to heal for up to six months before the appropriate structure is placed, which can be a crown, a bridge or a cover prosthesis.

When implanting in the incisor area, it is sometimes also possible to make an immediate temporary prosthesis so that the patient does not have to walk around with a visible gap in mouth. Once the implant is fully healed, this temporary structure will be replaced by a permanent one.

In situations where a tooth has been extracted a long time ago, there may not be enough bone volume, or adjacent teeth may have already started to tilt. In these situations, it may be necessary to augment the bone before implantation, to lift the nasal sinus, or to make space for the implant to be placed.

For the long-term success of the implant placement and functioning, the patient needs to maintain good oral hygiene and visit the dentist and hygienist regularly. If this is not followed, the patient may lose the implant after a while.

It's no secret that a visit to the dentist can be very exciting and frightening, not only for children but also for adults. "The specialists at "Zobu feja” understand and respect this very well, which is why they offer to make the treatment process as easy as possible by using innovative local anaesthesia, sedation (nerve calming with laughing gas or medication) or, if necessary, general anaesthesia.

Don't put off taking care of your dental health and your beautiful smile to some unspecified moment in the future! Book a consultation now and take advantage of the special offer of the clinic "Zobu feja" - 3D X-rays for only 1 euro!
