Multifunctional grill houses

Every person who wants a place to rest and relax from the everyday rush, regenerate and recharge, and spend time with loved ones strives to create a feeling of home. Sauna treatments and healthy meals are part of healthcare and rejuvenation rituals. Equally important is the garden interior, where an eco-friendly grill house with a sauna can be easily installed. Together with family, friends and guests, everyone can relax and enjoy grilling meat and cooking in a friendly atmosphere, making the time you spend together a special occasion.

Garden interior element

Cosy BBQ or grill houses are designed according to old Scandinavian traditions and resemble gazebos. The difference between a grill house and a gazebo is that it has a built-in grill for cooking and heating the room. A grill cabin is not only functional, it is made of quality timber, ensuring its longevity and ease of use. Before installing a grill house, it is important to assess the condition of the soil and the overall landscape of the garden or backyard to ensure it is not susceptible to flooding, soil erosion or other environmental impacts.

The wooden structure of the house must be higher than the ground and is usually built on Fibo or expanded clay foundation blocks. It is recommended that the grill house be installed by qualified builders who will professionally build the base to ensure the stability of the wooden structure and its durability. The wooden frame of the grill house can be adapted to the garden interior by repainting or adapting it to the surroundings.

For inner harmony and renewed energy

The sauna installed inside the grill house can be heated with an electric or firewood stove. Each type of firewood – just like people – has its own character. Firewood made of deciduous trees is most common, but conifer trees, such as pine and spruce, can also be used. There are two types of sauna firewood stoves: one is heated through the wall and the other from the sauna room. Heating the stove through the wall leaves more space inside the sauna. When buying a stove, you should pay attention to the area it will heat, as well as its capacity (kW). The higher the heat output of the stove, the faster the sauna will heat up, and the higher the temperature will be.

Before buying a stove, make sure it fits the installation site. The rate of heating depends on the heat output of the firewood, which in turn depends on the type of wood, humidity and the location where it was grown. Dry quality firewood produces less tar, maintains a higher temperature during combustion and releases heat, making it much more economical for heating, and heating the sauna more rapidly. Although dry firewood burns best, it is important to remember that overly dry firewood will burn out quickly. Ideally, the firewood moisture content should be around 20-25%.

Cosy atmosphere and a delicious meal

The wooden benches in the room are comfortable and spacious and can be decorated with cushions, animal skins and quilts. The grill in the middle is made of durable metal and intended for grilling meat and fish, and steaming vegetables. You can sit comfortably around the grill and enjoy a freshly cooked meal. The grill house will keep you warm for a long time in all weather conditions. The cosy environment and natural smell of wood create a special atmosphere where you can gather everyday or on special occasions to relax and unwind in a positive atmosphere.
